Libraries are the physical representations of human wisdom, knowledge, and comprehension. The librarians are the keepers of this knowledge, and by maintaining the many literary materials found in libraries, they contribute significantly to the protection of information. The goal of the Faculty of Library and Information Sciences is to create future librarians who are knowledgeable about the new digital era as well as the traditional methods. Since the entire curriculum is job-oriented, it is extremely practical and will benefit any aspirant student to the fullest extent possible. With eighteen libraries and a wealth of educational materials, the faculty helps students develop their practical skills. 

In order to promote more practical relevance, the faculty also continues to instill in the students an understanding of the many digital components of this sector. In addition to teaching students the technical parts of library sciences, the faculty also develops fundamental interpersonal skills that are intended to facilitate communication.
