Hostel Rules & Regulations
Welcome to the Hostel Regulations page of SAM Global University. Living in the university hostel is an exciting and unique experience that allows students to foster friendships, enhance personal growth, and create unforgettable memories. As residents, it is important to understand and follow the following guidelines to ensure a safe and harmonious living environment for all.
Residential Eligibility: Only students who are registered and enrolled in SAM Global University are eligible for accommodation in the university hostel. Proper identification and enrollment documentation must be provided during the application process.
Room Allocation: Rooms are allocated based on availability and according to the university's policy. Students are required to occupy the room assigned to them and are not permitted to switch or sublet rooms without prior approval from the hostel administration.
Curfew Hours: In order to maintain a peaceful environment, a curfew is imposed during specified hours. Students must be in their respective hostel premises by the designated curfew time. Exceptions may be granted for academic or university-sanctioned activities with prior permission.
Safety and Security: The safety and security of our residents are of utmost importance. Students are expected to observe all safety regulations, including locking their rooms, not allowing unauthorized individuals into the hostel premises, and reporting any suspicious activities to the hostel management or campus security.
Quiet Hours: To ensure a conducive studying environment, quiet hours are enforced during specified times. Residents are expected to keep noise levels to a minimum to avoid disturbing fellow students. Parties and loud gatherings are strictly prohibited within the hostel premises.
Maintenance and Cleanliness: Students are responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in their living spaces. Regular inspections may be conducted by hostel staff to ensure that rooms are kept neat and tidy.
By adhering to these regulations, the university hostel can provide residents with a safe, comfortable, and enriching living experience. Failure to comply with the hostel regulations may result in disciplinary actions, including warnings, fines, or even expulsion from the hostel.
